I figured if I had to pay a lot to re-bag food using my Food Saver, then where's the savings. These are excellent quality and a good price. I put my long term freezer meats in these and they last at least a year or longer, no freezer burn. I make 'dishes' like lasagna in oven or microwave proof containers and use these to seal them. When I'm ready for a quick meal, I just heat it in the oven or microwave. I can spend 1 day in the kitchen and have enough dinners for a month. The bags can also be submerged in boiling water which is great for reheating rice, chili, or any left overs, just cut the corner and pour in a dish. When sealing chili or soup, I freeze it first in a container. When frozen, I pop it out and seal it, then put it back in the freezer.
