This is a great bubble wrap, durable (not that thin stuff that breaks when you try to tear off a sheet) which tears off smoothly (by the way) and is perfect for wrapping up delicate, fragile items. I love this brand and it is So worth the money. I saved money by not having to use twice as much with the cheaper brand. It arrived faster than I thought it would, before the due date, and I love it. I looked at purchasing some of the cheaper stuff and then remembered the problems I had with cheaper bubble wrap before...just not worth settling for less. I used this for long term storage of items but also because I sell items that are fragile and I need to be sure they arrive to the buyer in perfect condition. This bubble wrap is great.I picked up this huge box at the Post Office- but it was as light as a feather. I order dozens of products on Amazon each month- and I couldn't remember what in the world I'd ordered that was so big, yet so light. I literally thought it was a box of air that Amazon had mistakenly sent. When I opened it up I was reminded that I ordered the biggest roll of bubble wrap I'd ever seen in my life. I make and sell crafts online and although my items are fairly durable I like to package extra-carefully. Bubble wrap is the best way to do this- and this particular bubble wrap by Duck is the best I've ever used.
This roll has lasted me a month- and I still have much more bubble wrap to use! I sell small items, so it doesn't take a lot for me to package each thing. The roll is easy to unravel and light-weight so it's not too hard to store away on a top shelf. The 'bubbles' themselves are very small. The wrap is thick and durable- so it doesn't easily pop. It would take a lot of pressure to pop these bubbles and I never have to worry about my items breaking by having something heavy set on top of them. This bubble wrap easily protects anything- and does so very efficiently.
My only issue is that it's not as eco-friendly as paper. This plastic material takes years to break down- and my guilt complex is telling me to simply order craft paper next time (and use that to package my products). With that being said, for items like glass, porcelain, and other easily breakable products- bubble wrap can't be beat.
